“MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH IN EDUCATION” 

Virtual International webinar on “MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH IN EDUCATION” was organized by DPG Degree, College, Gurugram, on 9th February 2023 in association with A2Z edu learning center. The program was started by Mr. Deepak Gahlot Hon’ble Vice Chairman of DPG Degree College, Gurugram. The Respected principal of DPG Degree College, Gurugram College, extended his warm welcome and introduced the college to the resource person.

The program was followed by the with welcome of dignitaries by Dr. Amita Singh, with a brief introduction of the event by the Organizing coordinator. Dr. Sangeeta Yadav, (Principal,CPSM college of Education)told about role of research in education. Prof. (Dr.) Arun kumarMishra,Head& Dean IFTM university Moradabad elaborate students about multidisciplinary approach in Education and research.

In his next session Dr Arun said The National Education Policy (NEP)–2020 highlights on overall personality development of individual by inculcating 21st Century education skills to learners.

And he also highlighted the importance multidisciplinary and holistic learning in making the system flexible enough for students to learn sciences, mathematics with humanities, languages, social sciences, professional skills, soft skills, ethics, morality, human values etc. in combination according to their needs and interests with the aim towards integrated competencies development including intellectual, aesthetic, social, physical, emotional, and moral.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, a student gains an arsenal of skills—problem-solving, critical thinking, time-management, self-management, communication and writing, analysis and research methodologies, team work, and much more—that are easily transferable across work environments.

At the end of the session was there was a Valedictory speech given by Dr. Priya and Dr. Reena. Event convener Dr. Amita Singh ( HOD Botany) proposed the Vote of Thanks.
