One Day Workshop

PG students attended the one day workshop at BML University on Nov 9, 2019. It was a hands on workshop. Students were first given the basic knowledge of the fabrication process and all the steps that are to be followed to make the thin films and masking.
Then the students were given the demonstration of the fabrication of the Organic field effect transistor (OFET). They learned that how to clean the corning glass substrate. Then a layer of Al substrate is deposited on this substrate. The process of casting was shown to the students. The source and gate electrodes were deposited. Students were given insights about all the equipments and lab facilities and their working. Overall it was a good learning experience that imparted sufficient knowledge about the mentioned research area.
