“Research Methodology-Fundamentals”
Introduction: One day Workshop on “Research Methodology-Fundamentals” was organized by DPG Degree College, Gurugram, on 16th January 2020. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Deepak Gahlot Hon’ble Vice Chairman of DPG Degree College, Gurugram, in association with I.Q.A.C and RCCV Girls College, Ghaziabad.
Objective:The objective of the workshop was to share knowledge with participants about the Research Methodology Practices to promote Research.
Description: One day Workshop on “Research Methodology and writing practices” was organized by DPG Degree College, Gurugram, on 16th January s2020. The program was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Deepak Gahlot Hon’ble Vice Chairman of DPG Degree College, Gurugram. Dr. S.S. Boken Principal, DPG was presiding over the inaugural function of the Conference. Dr. Amita Singh convenor, Research committee talked about the main area of discussion as characteristics, Types, and steps of research variables, title, and objective writing. The main aim was to focus on Methodology. Research is defined as the systematic method to resolve a research problem through data gathering using various techniques, providing an interpretation of data gathered and drawing conclusions about the research data. Essentially, a research methodology is the blueprint of a research or study. The workshop consisted of number of sessions in which presentations on various aspects of Research methodology were given by the experts and the session was followed by a discussion. The entire session was organized under the guidance of convenor Dr. Amita Singh, Convenor with assistance of member of Research & Extension Lecture committee. Many faculties and students took part in workshop.
The session was end with a small quiz to check the understanding of the participant; many gave accurate answers. It was a successful event.
Valedictory session: At the end of the session was there was a Valedictory speech given by Dr. Priya and Dr. Devkanya. Event convener Dr. Amita Singh ( HoD Botany) proposed the Vote of Thanks.
